  • Ignoring label directions
  • Taking meds to get high

LOOK FOR WARNING SIGNS

  • Changes in physical appearance
  • Loss of interest or motivation
  • Unexplained pills or paraphernalia

DON’T MAKE IT EASY

  • Track and secure all medicines
  • Drop off unused or expired medications
  • Find disposal locations
  • Report suspicious activity privately to pharm.tip@ventura.org

GETTING HELP

Ventura County Behavioral Health provides a continuum of care for substance use disorder treatment services. If you believe you or a family member may be struggling with addiction, talk to your healthcare provider or call the confidential 24/7 Access Line at 1-844-385-9200. The staff will perform a brief screening and provide a referral to a provider.
